Growing_Up from 'Tonari no Totoro'
The girls are growing up fast and although the younger Mei can still see the spirits of the forest, Satsuki is having difficulties. The growing feelings between Satsuki and Kanta, her childhood friend, are written with affection with a tinge of sadness when their abilities to see the spirits fade. Great narratives.

Wordless_Feelings_A_SanAshitaka_Story 'Princess Mononoke'
San, human but brought up by a wolf mother and her sons, knew Ashitaka had something she was missing and realises that it was human love. Since the film ended with the anticipation that they will lead separate lives again, it was good to read that San went on to trust and love Ashitaka and that made her feel whole.

Silent_Wish from 'Spirited away'
Ever since she came back from the nightmarish experience of the spirit world, Chihiro had only one wish and that was to meet Haku, who saved and fought for her with his life and soul. The promise he had made that they would meet again was kept in this fanfiction but the storyline seemed too simple.

Hearts_of_Paper from 'Ponyo'

This fanfiction is about Fujimoto reminiscing his first Valentine's Day exchange with the beautiful red-haired water goddess, Granmammare, long before Ponyo and all her siblings were born. Focusing on totally different characters but perfectly connected with the film and it was a delight to read.

Not coming back (Narnia) Tumnus the Faun cannot accept the fact that the Kings and Queens of Narnia had long gone and left the creatures. His regret that he had never told Lucy how much he loved her conveyed strong emotion and intensity but not much of a storyline.

Outside her window (Peter pan) After coming home from the adventure, Wendy waited and waited outside her window for Peter to come back while he watched her without being seen. All sorts of Peter Pan's  feelings were described along the line in different scenes. Excellent pulling factor.
  

Of cups and boxes (Alice in wonderland) The scene of a tea party with the four characters, Alice, Mad Hatter, March Hare and Dormouse is described with exquisite conversations. The interjections and critiques were presented as if it was out of the original story and I could almost visualise the pictures.

The edge of sleep (Lord of the rings) The relationships between Frodo and the other hobbits Merry, Sam and Pippin are detailed separately in this fanfiction. It was interesting like zooming in on separate frames.

nemo In the film, Nemo was rescued from the fish tank by his father and Dory. The fanfiction writes of Nemo's urge for an adventure since he had his own family and the subsequent opportunity to go back to Sydney, but the details are sketchy and his encounter with the creature isn't exciting. 

ratatouille In the film, Linguini, with the help of Remy the rat, made the mean food critic cry with his homely dish ratatouille, which reminded the critic of his mother. This fanfiction is about when Linguini was at his mother's bedside when she passed. Focusing on a different character but seems too disconnected with the film without explaining the significance of the mothers.
